Documentary Display

ABM presents a small documentary display of photographs of Madeira island part of the Luís Forjaz Trigueiros’ collection.
Acquired by António Miguel Trigueiros in 2016 the collection assembles two documentary nuclei: 53 photographs of Madeira by the photographer Joaquim Augusto de Sousa (1853-1905) and a set of 57 handwritten letters by Luis Vieira de Castro (1898-1954). From the first nucleus were selected 16 photographs of Madeira, which may be visited until the end of April at ABM’s Reading Room Reference Room.
